Melissa moved to the central coast in 2005 from the San Francisco bay area where she studied mass communications at Cal State East Bay. She instantly fell in love with the beauty and openness of the central coast and calls it home. Melissa exudes positive energy with anyone she comes in contact with. She loves the interaction with clients and knowing that she plays a part in making their event a big success. As your event consultant, she will help guide you through the planning process and can help connect you with other key central coast vendors you can trust. Assistant Event Consultant
Originally from Orange County, Kaitlyn spent her high school days competing with her nationally ranked dance team and planning every high school event. She has since continued her passion for the event industry and has chosen to study Recreation, Parks and Tourism at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Kaitlyn’s past involvement in her course of study, the Week of Welcome Program, and as a Vice President of her sorority makes her a stellar asset to the Kramer Team. It’s obvious when you meet her, that with her radiant personality she brings an added element of excitement and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Lighting Designer / Lighting Division Manager
Originally from San Diego, Zach moved to San Luis Obispo to pursue a career in engineering. He’s spent over 10 years working in theatrical lighting. He studied lighting design under one of Disney’s lighting designers. He now works in the entertainment industry, and comes to Kramer as the lighting designer. He also oversees the lighting design team. He has experience with lighting every major venue on the central coast. When he’s not lighting up your life, he teaches percussion to high school students all over the county.
As a San Luis Obispo local Jesse has enjoyed the central coast his entire life. Despite his affinity of traveling and venturing off into nature, he has kept his home in San Luis because of the community’s altruistic and fun loving nature. Majoring in sociology, he is quick to assess what is needed to maximize comfort and enthusiasm for your guests. When he isn’t working or studying he spends his time rock climbing, hiking, or mountain biking the local peaks and mountains. Familiar with a wide range of music, he is able to accommodate guests from all walks of life which keeps the dance floor moving all night. Additionally by seizing every opportunity to better your event, he is able to keep your event flowing smoothly.
Bruce is a true central coast local who’s family has lived in San Luis Obispo County for over 5 generations. Growing up on the coast, Bruce has learned to appreciate what makes this area so special and how to get the most out of this wonderful community. Married for 3 years, he lives with his wife and two dogs in Nipomo. When he is not spending time with his family, Bruce enjoys writing and recording music, playing guitar, biking, and country dancing. Bruce has a very outgoing personality and lives his life knowing that there is no strangers out there, just friends he hasn’t met. Having Bruce as part of your special event will ensure that all your guests have an amazing time and leave the party smiling.
Jessica comes to us with a background in celebrity event planning and entertainment. After her 7 year stint in Los Angeles, she has worked with a large number of A-Listers in helping them execute their events. Having been a Cal Poly graduate she knows and loves the area and ultimately decided to move back. When not planning events, she works as a local real estate agent and enjoys helping young couples to find their first home. Jessica is confident and skilled and she is excited to work with you on your special event. She promises to do her best to make you feel like a star!
Being from Santa Maria, Sean is very in touch with the Central Coast atmosphere. With his love for the area, he decided to stay close and start his studies at Cal Poly. The open and relaxing environment makes it hard for him to stray far from the beautiful area. Sean’s friendly and approachable personality really makes him a great fit for you. His passion and love for music, along with his premier customer service will allow him to make the event you have always wished for!
Originally from Portland OR, Ryan is pursuing his master’s degree in engineering at Cal Poly. His organizational skills and attention to detail translate well into his role as an MC. Ryan is a people person who loves to entertain and share his passion for cooking, movies, and music. His appreciation for music spans the entire spectrum of genres allowing him to relate to anyone’s taste. Above all else he is driven by his enthusiasm and would love to make your central coast event a success.
Originally from Walnut Creek, Darren is finishing up his BS in Engineering at Cal Poly. Outside of his studies, he loves to golf, meet new people, discover new music, and DJ. He has an extremely friendly attitude and loves to smile. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for music means that your event will be exciting and one to remember. Darren is looking forward to keeping you and your guests dancing all night long on your special day.
Originally from the Bay Area, Beau graduated Cal Poly in 2002 and now call the central coast home. He and his wife, Melissa live in Paso Robles. He has a passion for creating awesome events and strives everyday to improve the quality of service that Kramer Events provides. Continuing education and constant learning are what he feels is most important. He helps to ensure every event that the Kramer Event team is at is amazing in any way that is important to each customer.
